NBC sets coverage of 2 tournaments

Nearly 30 Live Hours of AIG Women’s British Open Airing Across GOLF  Channel, NBC Thursday-Sunday, Most Live Hours of Any 2019 LPGA Event

Wyndham Championship Concludes PGA TOUR Regular Season Ahead of Next Week’s Start to Enhanced Three-Event FedExCup Playoffs

ORLANDO, Fla. (July 30, 2019) – The R&A stages the final major championship of 2019 with the AIG Women’s British Open, airing Thursday-Sunday on GOLF Channel and NBC. NBC Sports will air nearly 30 hours of live tournament coverage from Woburn Golf Club in England, the most of any LPGA event in 2019. The PGA TOUR is in North Carolina for the Wyndham Championship, the final regular season event of the 2018-19 season. The inaugural Wyndham Rewards will be finalized at week’s end for the top-10 in the FedExCup standings, and the top-125 in the standings will earn their 2019-2020 PGA TOUR card. Those 125 players also will be eligible to take part in next week’s Northern Trust to kick off the enhanced three-event FedExCup Playoffs, being staged in August for the first time.

Wyndham Rewards Top-10 to be finalized: The inaugural Wyndham Rewards Top 10 offers a $10 million bonus pool to players finishing inside the top-10 in the season-long FedExCup standings. The top-three spots are already locked up, with Brooks Koepka ($2 million bonus), Rory McIlroy ($1.5 million) and Matt Kuchar ($1.2 million). Paul Casey (No. 8 in the standings) is in the field at the Wyndham Championship and able to improve his standing in the Wyndham Rewards Top 10.

Final event of PGA TOUR regular season: This week marks the 43rd and final event of the 2018-19 PGA TOUR regular season. The top-125 in the FedExCup standings at week’s end will earn a PGA TOUR card for the 2019-20 season and qualify for the first of three FedExCup Playoff events next week at The Northern Trust in New Jersey. Players situated 126-200 in the standings following this week are eligible to compete in the three-event Korn Ferry Tour Finals beginning August 15.

Snedeker defends: Brandt Snedeker finished three shots clear of C.T. Pan and Webb Simpson for his ninth PGA TOUR win.
