OXFORD® ANNOUNCES 2019 BRAND AMBASSADORS
ATLANTA, GA – January 16, 2019 – Oxford®, a leading provider of classic golf and lifestyle performance apparel, is excited to introduce their new and returning brand ambassadors for the 2019 PGA TOUR season.
As part of these multi-year agreements, the players will display the Oxford logo on their apparel and demonstrate the brand’s key messages through various media activities.

Jim Knous joins the Oxford family for his rookie season on the PGA TOUR. Knous turned pro in 2012 after graduating from the Colorado School of Mines where he earned his degree in Civil Engineering. Knous joined the Web.com Tour in 2016 and secured his PGA TOUR Card for the 2018-19 season by finishing 25th in the 2018 Web.com Tour Finals.
Chris Stroud, two time All-American from Lamar University, turned pro in 2004. The Texas-native won the Barracuda Championship in 2017 and has achieved 29 additional Top 10 finishes during his career on TOUR. Stroud earned exempt status on the PGA TOUR through 2020.
Martin Trainer turned pro in 2013 and joined the Web.com Tour in 2017. He became the first two-time winner on the Web.com Tour in 2018 with victories at Price Cutter Charity Championship and El Bosque Mexico Championship. With one additional top-10 finish for the season, he secured his PGA TOUR card for the 2018-19 season by finishing No. 4 on the Web.com Season Money List.
Chase Wright earned full PGA TOUR status for the 2018-19 season by finishing No. 9 on the Web.com Regular Season Money List. Wright finished the 2018 season with a victory at the Rust-Oleum Championship, four additional top-10s and 16 cuts made in 25 starts.
Oxford will equip the brand ambassadors with its newest apparel collections. As part of their agreements, all brand ambassadors have access to Oxford’s full range of apparel including signature performance polos, premium layering pieces and performance bottoms which are all designed for maximum mobility and performance, on the course and off.
Knous, Stroud, Trainer and Wright join the ranks of Oxford’s renowned brand ambassadors including PGA TOUR Player and 2018 Valero Texas Open Champion Andrew Landry, Champions Tour Player Jeff Maggert, and Web.com Tour Player Ben Taylor.
