(DUBLIN, Ireland) Carr Golf – Ireland and Scotland’s premier provider of unforgettable golf vacations – will exhibit at the Golf Ireland booth (#3273) at the 2019 PGA Merchandise Show as well as showcasing their new Donald Ross Pro-Am event at Donald Ross Sportswear booths (#5089, #5388), sponsors of the $20,000 professional prize fund.

2019 is a significant milestone for the thriving Dublin-based company as it enters its 30th year providing unrivaled customer care for groups of all sizes and exclusive “one-of-a-kind” itineraries featuring luxury accommodations, transportation, sightseeing, fine dining, caddies and anything else needed for stress-free, extraordinary golf vacations. Carr Golf additionally works directly with a multitude of North American PGA club professionals on incentivized member and association getaways.

This year is also the 30th anniversary of its wildly popular World Invitational Father & Son Tournament held on Southwest Ireland’s Waterville Golf Links (Aug. 8 – 12). To commemorate three decades, Carr Golf will also host an exclusive “one-off” father and son tournament at famed Pebble Beach Resorts on May 5 – 8. This prestigious get-together will showcase the incredible golf offered on the scenic Monterey Peninsula with rounds at Pebble Beach as well as nearby Spyglass Hill Golf Course.

Another highlight on Carr Golf’s 2019 roster of prestigious events is its Donald Ross Pro-Am, set for Sept. 24 – 28. The field is limited to 16 teams, each consisting of one PGA Professional and three amateurs. The unique golf pilgrimage features a practice round at Brora Golf Club – home of the James Braid Golfing Society – one tournament round at Gil Hanse’s scenic Castle Stuart Golf Links overlooking the Moray Firth, and two tournament rounds on Royal Dornoch, home club to the architectural genius Donald Ross and ranked world No. 2 by Golf Digest.

Also included are four nights’ accommodations, welcome reception and entertainment, three meals daily, premium gift packs presented by tournament partner Donald Ross Sportswear, on the ground transportation, farewell dinner and prize ceremony, and concierge service both pre-trip as well as during the event. Additionally, a $20,000 prize supported by Donald Ross Sportswear will be divided among the winning PGA Professionals.

“We are excited to be partnering with our friends at Donald Ross Sportswear for the Donald Ross Pro-Am at Dornoch this year,” says Mark Byrne, Carr Golf sales manager. “We would be delighted to answer any questions on this special event as well as all things Carr Golf travel at the PGA Show, so feel free to email me at to set up an appointment or simply stop by the Donald Ross Sportswear booths.”

Carr Golf recently announced packages for the 2019 Open Championship (July 18 – 21) to be played at Northern Ireland’s Royal Portrush Golf Club for the first time since 1951. Along with the opportunity to attend the historic event, the offer includes luxury accommodations, tee times on several of the world’s finest links courses and a personal driver. Carr Golf will also host its 12th Annual World Invitational Father & Daughter Tournament on July 23 – 26. Like the Father & Son, this tournament is held on acclaimed Waterville Golf Links.
