Texas’ Reineck wins Golf Advisor Getaway

Will Join Golf Advisor’s Editor-at-Large Matt Ginella for 4-day, 3-night “Golftoberfest”

GREENSBORO, Ga. (Oct. 17, 2018) – Bill Reineck, an avid golfer from Flower Mound, Texas, will make his first visit to Reynolds Lake Oconee as winner of the “Golf Advisor Getaway” sweepstakes. From October 21-24, Reineck and his brother, Michael, will experience a dream vacation at Reynolds Lake Oconee, the award-winning golf and lakefront destination between Atlanta and Augusta, Georgia.

This festive fall “Golftoberfest” will be part of Golf Advisor’s Golf Advisor Getaway and feature a complete immersion into the luxury golf and sporting lifestyle at the world-class destination on Lake Oconee. The event will be hosted by Matt Ginella, Golf Advisor editor-at-large and frequent co-host of Golf Channel’s Morning Drive.

The Reinecks will play three rounds of golf, attend private group dinner parties, and visit the Reynolds Kingdom of Golf (with a club-fitting and special presentation by Todd Beach, head of Research Design & Engineering for TaylorMade). They’ll also enjoy the new Sandy Creek Sporting Grounds, where they’ll enjoy sporting clays, shooting stands, and archery. Additionally, the brothers will have full access to a selection of lake activities (boats, wave-runners, paddleboards, kayaks), plus swimming, tennis, and fitness facilities. Along with all that, each Reineck will receive a golf apparel and merchandise “swag bag” valued at more than $1,100.

“I look forward to the camaraderie and competition at Reynolds Lake Oconee, which is among the most notable golf destinations in America,” said Ginella, the popular Golf Channel on-air personality. “It’s great that these Texas brothers drew the lucky straw and I will personally make sure this will be their trip of a lifetime.”

Home to one of the most diverse collections of elite golf courses in the United States, Reynolds Lake Oconee is one of only 11 resorts in the country to earn the prestigious Platinum Medal from GOLF Magazine. The six distinctive designs, fantastic lodging, dining options, and magnificent lakefront location have established Reynolds Lake Oconee as one of the nation’s premier golf and lakefront destinations and communities.

Reynolds Lake Oconee is also home to The Reynolds Kingdom of Golf presented by TaylorMade, one of the only facilities in the country where recreational golfers can receive professional instruction, be fit for new equipment in the same elite environment used by Tour professionals, and have their equipment built before their eyes.
