Hogan restocks left-handed PTx irons

PTx Irons are the most technologically advanced Hogan Irons EVER

Fort Worth, Texas – February 14, 2018 - Ben Hogan Golf Equipment Company, LLC, announced today that their left-handed versions of their best-selling PTx Irons are “Back in Stock” and now available for purchase. The initial production run, introduced in October 2017, sold out much more quickly than anticipated due to overwhelming consumer demand.

“We’re thrilled to have the PTx Irons in left-handed models back in stock. The first run sold so fast that we needed to compile a waiting list to which we are now shipping ” said Scott White, President and CEO of Ben Hogan Golf Equipment.  “I know our Customer Service team will be relieved … we've had a lot of calls from frustrated left-handed golfers over the last six or seven weeks!"

PTx Irons were developed after extensive R&D efforts, CAD modeling and testing to produce a 'transitional iron' for the serious player; one who is rapidly improving, or an accomplished player and may now require cutting-edge technology to maintain their skills.   PTx irons  provide more forgiveness on off-center hits, a higher ball flight in the longer irons and more penetrating trajectories in the scoring irons.  PTx incorporate several revolutionary, engineering, accomplishments including:

Co-forged Construction – A revolutionary, co-forging process which ensures each club head performs exactly as designed. The longer irons are hollow with a 1025 Carbon Steel frame and hosel and an ultra-thin MS300 steel face for distance and exceptional feel. Precisely positioned dense Tungsten weights low in the head delivers higher trajectories and steeper landing angles.   In the shorter irons thee heavy Tungsten material has been replaced with a lightweight Titanium core.

Linear Center of Mass Weighting – Another benefit of our proprietary co-forged construction process is a consistent placed Center of Gravity (CG) on the face of each club head in the set. The innovative PTx Iron presents a seamless visual transition from the outside, but a radical engineering transition inside from iron to iron.

Ben Hogan V-Sole Technology – Combines a very steep / high bounce leading edge with a low bounce trailing on the sole. This minimizes ‘digging’ or ‘dragging’ and ensures solid impact no matter if the ball is buried in deep rough, or on a tight lie in the middle of the fairway. V-Sole Technology also allows the golfer to easily manipulate the position of the club head, by opening it or closing it, for better shot making.

PreciseLoft™ - The 7-piece irons sets will be offered in two (2) PreciseLoft™ configurations: low launch (20 - 24 - 28 - 32 - 36 - 40 - 44 degree lofts) and mid-high launch (22 - 26 - 30 - 34 - 38 - 42 - 46 degree lofts).

Customization - As with all Ben Hogan irons, left-handed PTx Irons can be customized at NO CHARGE. Players can select shaft materials as the Ben Hogan Golf Equipment Company offers seven (7) different shafts – four (4) steel and three (3) graphite and in multiple flexes. They can be ordered in any length from 2.0 inches longer than standard to 1.5 shorter in quarter inch increments. Lie angles on the PTx Irons can be adjusted by up to three (3) degrees, up or flat. Plus, grips can be ordered in standard sized or mid-sized.
