Reynolds Lake Oconee adds lots for sale

GREENSBORO, Ga. (October 3, 2017) — A dozen new spacious lakefront lots are now available at Reynolds Lake Oconee, the award-winning golf community along Georgia’s Lake Oconee between Atlanta and Augusta.

The waterfront properties are part of the Horseshoe Bend shoreline—which had been held in reserve for more than 25 years—and provide unique opportunities for special homes to be built on perhaps the finest parcels of lakefront property remaining at Reynolds Lake Oconee.

Reflecting the luxury lakeside lifestyle at Reynolds, Horseshoe Bend is nestled behind stone gates with gas-lit lanterns, with landscape lined by wild cherry trees and dogwoods and framed by towering oaks, sturdy hickories, and Georgia pines.

“These lots offer both majestic lake access home sites overlooking a wide lakefront cove and glen, and gently sloped lakefront home sites in a pocket peninsula that form a neighborhood all its own,” said Rabun Neal, president of Reynolds Lake Oconee.

This limited offering features robust building sites, wide water views across to the finishing holes of Great Waters golf course, and elevated, peaceful coves with generous room for landscapes cascading down to the lake.

Situated on 12,000 acres, and located a comfortable distance between the stimulating pace of Atlanta and the revered traditions of Augusta, Reynolds Lake Oconee remains a community with a strong identity all its own.

While larger Georgia cities are within an easy drive, nearby towns offer superb shopping and dining experiences, as well as nearly two centuries worth of culture and history. Reynolds is surrounded by the majestic Lake Oconee and its numerous recreation options that enhance the community’s aesthetic appeal.

“We continue to create dream homes where it is easy to envision sharing time with family and friends, which has become synonymous to the quality of life most come to enjoy at Reynolds,” said Glenn Winslette, vice president of development at Reynolds Lake Oconee. “These lakefront sites will leave you saying, ‘Wow’.

Members of Reynolds enjoy a caliber of golf excellence few communities can match. Home to one of the most elite collections of golf courses in the United States, Reynolds Lake Oconee is one of only 11 golf resorts in the country to earn the prestigious Platinum Medal from GOLF Magazine. The designs have firmly established Reynolds Lake Oconee’s reputation as the nation’s premier golf community and preferred golf destination.

Besides the unparalleled golf at Reynolds, there is plenty more to fill the days. With 19,000 acres and nearly 374 miles of shoreline, Lake Oconee is Georgia's second largest lake, providing outstanding fishing along with swimming, boating, camping, picnicking, and water skiing.

Other amenities include the new Sandy Creek Sporting Grounds, four full-service marinas, The Lake Club Wellness Center and Tennis Center, and a robust schedule of cultural programming.
