Sharma Defends on European Tour at Joburg Open in South Africa; Ladies European Tour Hosting Saudi Ladies Team International

ORLANDO, Fla., (Nov. 17, 2020) – Webb Simpson and Sungjae Im lead the field at the RSM Classic in Georgia, with live coverage airing Thursday-Sunday from 1-4 p.m. ET on GOLF Channel. The LPGA Tour is in Florida for the inaugural Pelican Women’s Championship, with world No. 1 Jin Young Ko set to make her first start in the U.S. in 2020. The European Tour is in South Africa for the Joburg Open, as Shubhankar Sharma defends. The Ladies European Tour hosts the Saudi Ladies Team International, with live coverage airing Wednesday and Thursday morning on GOLF Channel.

World No. 1 Ko to make first U.S. start in 2020: World No. 1 Jin Young Ko is set to make her first start in the United States in 2020, having remained in her native South Korea since the outbreak of COVID-19. It will mark her first competition in the U.S. since the 2019 CME Group Tour Championship last November.

Inaugural event: This week marks the inaugural edition of the event, the fourth new tournament added to the LPGA Tour schedule in 2020. The event was originally scheduled to take place in May prior to being postponed due to COVID-19.

McDonald to be featured in “Caddie Knows Best”: During Thursday’s opening round coverage, Ally McDonald and her caddie will be featured in “Caddie Knows Best,” where McDonald will try to match answers to questions posed to her caddie about her interests and habits on Tour.

Pagdanganan to be spotlighted in “rookie feature”: During Friday’s second round telecast, Bianca Pagdanganan will be spotlighted as part of a “rookie feature,” focusing on her inaugural season on the LPGA Tour.
