Ladies European Tour stages Omega Dubai Moonlight Classic, with live coverage airing Wednesday-Friday morning on Golf Channel; European Tour hosts Aphrodite Hills Cyprus Showdown

ORLANDO, Fla., (Nov. 3, 2020) – The PGA TOUR is in Texas for the Vivint Houston Open, the final tournament in advance of the Masters next week. World No. 1 Dustin Johnson headlines the field, along with Brooks Koepka and Tyrrell Hatton, with live coverage airing Thursday-Sunday on GOLF Channel. The PGA TOUR Champions are in Arizona for the Charles Schwab Cup Championship, which is being contested as a full-field event, airing Friday-Sunday. Minjee Lee, Lydia Ko and Celine Boutier lead the field on the Ladies European Tour at the Omega Dubai Moonlight Classic. The event will see players compete in daytime and night (under the lights) conditions, with coverage airing live on GOLF Channel Wednesday through Friday morning. The European Tour hosts the Aphrodite Hills Cyprus Showdown, the second event in as many weeks being contested on the island of Cyprus.

Full-field event: Due to COVID-19, the Charles Schwab Cup Championship is being played as a full-field event, not as the culmination to the PGA TOUR Champions’ Charles Schwab Cup Playoffs, as it is traditionally contested. This week’s tournament marks the final event of the calendar year, as part of the Tour’s 2020-’21 wraparound season.

Maggert defends: Jeff Maggert defeated Retief Goosen – thanks to a hole-out eagle from 123 yards on the third playoff hole – to win for the sixth time on the PGA TOUR Champions.
