Mickelson to make 2nd start on PGA Tour Champions; Dominion Energy Charity Classic Friday-Sunday in Virginia, live on Golf Channel

ORLANDO, Fla., (Oct. 14, 2020) – The PGA TOUR is in Las Vegas for the second consecutive week, as six of the top-10 in the world (including three of the top-five) lead a strong field at the CJ Cup @ Shadow Creek. Jon Rahm, Justin Thomas and Rory McIlroy will headline live coverage (Thursday-Sunday) on GOLF Channel. After winning in his first-ever start on the PGA TOUR Champions back in August, Phil Mickelson is scheduled to tee it up this week for the second time on the over-50 circuit. The Dominion Energy Charity Classic will air from Virginia, Friday-Sunday, live on GOLF Channel. On the European Tour, Lee Westwood and Padraig Harrington headline the field at the Scottish Championship.

Broadcast Notes:
Event relocated due to COVID-19: The week marks the fourth edition of the PGA TOUR’s CJ Cup. Traditionally staged in Korea, the tournament was moved to Shadow Creek due to COVID-19.

CJ Cup charity challenge airing Wednesday at 5 p.m. ET, live on GOLF Channel: Four players in the field this week will convene on Wednesday afternoon to take part in the Charity Challenge presented by MGM Resorts, a nine-hole charity exhibition match that will air live at 5 p.m. ET on GOLF Channel. The match will take place on the back nine of Shadow Creek and feature Bubba Watson and Rickie Fowler teaming up against Kevin Na and Ben An. The exhibition will benefit Shriners Hospitals for Children and the MGM Resorts Foundation, with the format following a points-based four-ball. The competition will air as a PGA TOUR LIVE production, and is being simulcast live on GOLF Channel.

Thomas defends: Justin Thomas finished two shots ahead of Danny Lee last year in Korea to capture his 11th PGA TOUR win.
