Weatherman partners with Arnold Palmer for commemorative umbrella capsule collaboration

6 new umbrellas to launch at Arnold Palmer Invitational

New York (March 5, 2020) – Weatherman, the meteorologist-founded, Bluetooth-embedded umbrella brand, announced its Arnold Palmer Collection, inspired by one of golf’s most loved and iconic figures. The collaboration will be sold at the onsite retail store at the 2020 Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard, when the tournament week kicks off on March 2nd and also will be available for presale on the Weatherman website starting on March 5th.

The Weatherman x Arnold Palmer Collection pays homage to the golf legend’s charismatic, colorful personality and brings his ubiquitous umbrella logo to life with six umbrellas in three new designs. Each design will be available in Weatherman’s Golf and Collapsible sizes. In addition to the red/yellow/white/green umbrella featured in the Arnold Palmer logo, there also will be a design available in solid black and white.

In addition to being sold at the tournament onsite retail store powered by Fanatics, the Bay Hill Pro Shop and select Arnold Palmer designed courses around the United States also will sell the collection year-round. Participants in the Arnold Palmer Invitational Pro-Am will be gifted a commemorative umbrella.

All Weatherman Umbrellas are equipped with optional Bluetooth technology called “The Droplet" to track their location so they are not left behind, and the Weatherman app makes sure you won’t forget to bring your Weatherman umbrella along on rainy days. The Golf and Collapsible Umbrellas are made of industrial-strength fiberglass that prevents breaking and inverting, and vented canopies can withstand winds up to 55 mph.
