The Terrace Grill, previously a quick-snack and beverage bar, was expanded into a full dining venue.

“Our culinary team constantly evaluates the immediate and long-term needs of our growing membership and wants to create a completely seamless and first-class dining experience for our residents,” says Aaron Gibbs, clubhouse manager at Sailfish Point. “New food trends, special diets and increased occupancy in recent years has called for the creation of a unique and creative layout and design for the kitchen.”

Sailfish Point also welcomes Melissa Woods as beverage manager. A certified sommelier with more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Woods founded the first private chef and special event management company in Charlotte, N.C.

“We are thrilled to bring Melissa to the Sailfish Point team,” adds Gibbs. “Her extensive experience in the food and beverage industry and passion and knowledge as a skilled sommelier makes her an ideal asset to our club.”
