General manager at Deerpath Golf Course in Lake Forest, Ill., earns PGA of America's elevated certification
NORTHBROOK, Illinois, November 12, 2019 – KemperSports is proud to announce that Vince Juarez, general manager of Deerpath Golf Course – an 18-hole municipal golf facility located in Lake Forest, Illinois – has achieved PGA Master Professional status in general management. This certification, which is held by fewer than 400 of the 28,000 PGA professionals in the country, recognizes PGA members who have made a significant effort to improve as golf professionals and maintain the highest degree of excellence for themselves and their operations.
“On behalf of hundreds of KemperSports PGA and LPGA professionals and more than 6,000 staffers, I want to congratulate Vince on this important and well-deserved accomplishment,” said Steve Skinner, KemperSports CEO. “We are very proud of his dedication to his profession and the outstanding service he provides to our guests. He is a leader in every sense of the word.”
Juarez is entering his fourth year with Deerpath Golf Course and brings 20 years of club management experience to the property. During his time at Deerpath, he has focused on elevating inclusion and customer service to new levels. He has been with KemperSports for nearly eight years – previously serving in leadership roles at Fox Lake Country Club in Fox Lake, Illinois – and was named the 2014 recipient of the James R. Seely General Manager of the Year award at the company’s annual leadership conference.
Juarez joins three other PGA Master Professionals at KemperSports managed properties – Matt Jordan, head golf professional at Streamsong Resort in Streamsong, Florida; Jeff Simonds, director of resort operations at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort in Bandon, Oregon; and Grant Rogers, director of instruction at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort.
