Golf Channel to televise 3 major pro tours this week

Champions Tour hosts season-ending event, and European and LPGA tours also play as network prepares live coverage

ORLANDO, Fla. (Nov. 5, 2019) – The PGA TOUR Champions season culminates this week with the Charles Schwab Cup Championship, as Scott McCarron leads the current standings, with four additional players holding a mathematical chance at surpassing him in the season-long standings. Live coverage will air Thursday-Sunday on GOLF Channel from Phoenix Country Club in Arizona. The LPGA Tour stages the TOTO Japan Classic, the penultimate event of the Tour’s season leading up to the CME Group Tour Championship in two weeks in Naples, Fla. The European Tour begins its first of three consecutive Rolex Series events to culminate its season, with the Turkish Airlines Open featuring an eligible field of the top-70 in the current Race to Dubai standings.

Charles Schwab Cup Playoffs Culminate: The PGA TOUR Champions season concludes this week with the Charles Schwab Cup Championship. The field will include 34 of the eligible top-36 in the Charles Schwab Cup standings, and Scott McCarron enters the week at the top of the standings. Mathematically, Jerry Kelly, Colin Montgomerie, Bernhard Langer and Retief Goosen are the only players in the field with an opportunity to surpass McCarron at week’s end.
