2021 Palmetto Championship: Purse, prize money and payouts

Winner of inaugural PGA Tour event at Congaree Golf Club in South Carolina will receive $1.314 million from $7.3 million purse

The winner of this week's inaugural Palmetto Championship will receive $1.314 million from the $7.3 million purse, the PGA Tour announced Monday.

The tournament begins Thursday at Congaree Golf Club in Ridgeland, S.C. The event was a midseason addition to the PGA Tour's 2020-21 schedule after the RBC Canadian Open was canceled because of COVID-19 travel restrictions.

The Palmetto Championship, the final tuneup before the U.S. Open next week at Torrey Pines in San Diego, will feature three of the world's top-10-ranked players, led by No. 1 Dustin Johnson, a South Carolina native.
