Phil Mickelson and Jordan Spieth join Daniel Berger for featured pairing this week at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas
Paired: Phil Mickelson and Jordan Spieth, for the first two rounds of the PGA Tour’s Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas, officials announced Tuesday. Mickelson, who won last week’s PGA Championship, claimed Colonial titles in 2000 and 2008. Spieth won in 2016 and was the runner-up in 2015 and 2017. Berger is the defending champion. They will tee off at 8:16 a.m. CDT Thursday on the 10th tee. In another featured pairing, Americans Justin Thomas, Collin Morikawa and Billy Horschel will begin play at 1:06 p.m. CDT on the first tee. The tournament, which is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year, has been played annually since 1946 at Colonial, the longtime home of the late Ben Hogan, a Fort Worth resident and five-time winner of the event.
