Because of COVID-19 concerns, tournament on China’s Hainan Island will not be played for 2nd consecutive year

Canceled: By the LPGA, the Blue Bay LPGA tournament, which had been scheduled for May 13-16 on Hainan Island, China, the women’s tour announced Wednesday in a news release, citing COVID-19 concerns. The tournament, at Jian Lake Blue Bay Golf Course, also was canceled last year. The LPGA intends to resume the event next spring.
