‘The One in November’ will premiere March 16 and give viewers an inside look at Augusta National and an extraordinary Masters
Announced: By ESPN, that the all-sports network, in conjunction with Augusta National Golf Club and Boardwalk Pictures, has produced a 30-minute documentary that details the extraordinary 2020 Masters that was played in November. The film, “The One in November,” is scheduled to premiere at 7 p.m. EDT Tuesday, March 16, and rerun eight times before the Masters on April 8-11. Because of the widening COVID-19 pandemic early last year, the 2020 Masters was postponed from its customary slot in the second week of April and eventually rescheduled for mid-November. Dustin Johnson won his first green jacket, solidifying a No. 1 ranking in the world that he still holds. The film will be available on ESPN+ and Masters.com beginning April 4, the network said. As Scott Van Pelt, ESPN’s golf anchor and a “SportsCenter” studio host who used to work at Golf Channel, says in a promotional clip, “There’s nothing else in the game that feels like this. It’s because everything is exactly right.”
