Dual-sanctioned event, which had been set for late November, will move to 2021 because of the coronavirus pandemic, organizers say
Postponed: By the European and Asian tours, the Hong Kong Open, organizers announced in a news release, citing the ongoing effects of the global coronavirus pandemic. The tournament, which was scheduled for Nov. 28-Dec. 1 at Hong Kong Golf Club, has not been rescheduled, but officials are looking at options for 2021. Last year's Hong Kong Open also was delayed, but not because of the disease. A wave of government protests and social unrest in the former British colony, which reverted to Chinese authority in 1997, led to the postponement. In January, Australia's Wade Ormsby won the most recent Hong Kong Open.
