2020 BMW Championship: Purse, prize money and payouts for Olympia Fields

Winner of this week’s 2nd stop in FedEx Cup playoffs will pocket $1.71 million from $9.5 million purse

The breakdown of the purse for this week’s BMW Championship, the second of three events on the PGA Tour’s season-ending FedEx Cup playoffs, has been announced.

The winner of the tournament, which begins Thursday at Olympia Fields (Ill.) Country Club’s North Course, will be paid $1,710,000 from the $9.5 million purse. The 72-hole, no-cut event will feature the top 70 in the FedEx Cup standings.

After Sunday’s final round, the top 30 in the standings will qualify for next week’s Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta.
