2020 Wyndham Championship: Prize money, purse and payouts

Jim Herman collects $1.152 million from $6.4 million prize fund for his victory in the PGA Tour’s regular-season finale

Jim Herman earned a shot at bigger riches with his victory Sunday at the PGA Tour’s Wyndham Championship, but he’s got a sure thing ahead of the FedEx Cup playoffs: $1.152 million.

That’s how much Herman earned from the $6.4 million purse when he shot 7-under 63 to cap a 21-under 259 score and two-stroke victory at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, N.C. Herman, 42, a three-time winner on the Tour, improved from 192nd in the FedEx Cup standings to 54th and a berth in the playoffs, which begin this week and will distrubute $60 million in bonus money. Herman will be one of 125 players competing in the Northern Trust, which begins Thursday at TPC Boston in Norton, Mass.

Here is the purse breakdown from the Wyndham Championship, the final event of the PGA Tour’s regular season, including score in relation to par:
