Canceled: By the LPGA, the Buick LPGA Shanghai tournament, in China, officials said late Tuesday, citing the global coronavirus pandemic and travel restrictions. The tournament had been scheduled for Oct. 15-18 and was to have been the first of four events on the fall Asia Swing. The LPGA still has tournaments scheduled for South Korea, Taiwan and Japan from late October to early November in Asia. The LPGA has played only six tournaments in 2020, including two since the season restart, both won by American Danielle Kang. After the cancellation in China, 15 tournaments remain on the tour’s revised schedule, beginning with the Ladies Scottish Open this week at The Renaissance Club in North Berwick, Scotland.
