Kelly Tilghman to return to TV for PGA Championship

1 day after Davis Love III’s exit from CBS Sports, Tilghman, a long-time Golf Channel and NBC anchor, says she will return to broadcasting with CBS … but for how long?

Confirmed: By Kelly Tilghman via her Twitter account, that she will be joining CBS Sports for its broadcast next week at the PGA Championship. The news comes one day after Davis Love III announced that he will be leaving CBS Sports after less than one year as an on-course reporter. Tilghman, 50, spent 22 years at Golf Channel and NBC Sports as an anchor and studio host before leaving in 2018. She was the first female broadcaster to anchor PGA Tour coverage. Tilghman, who played college golf at Duke, competed overseas as a touring professional in the 1990s. She will host the PGA Championship “Clubhouse Report” series next week after each day’s play at TPC Harding Park. She did not disclose any TV plans after the PGA.
