Australian will be the last elite golfer to return to competition after the 3-month suspension in play, Golf Channel’s Ryan Lavner reports
Prepared: To resume play on the PGA Tour in two weeks, Adam Scott, according to a report by Golf Channel’s Ryan Lavner, which cites Scott’s manager. When the PGA Tour’s season was suspended March 12 after the first round of the Players Championship amid the global coronavirus pandemic, Scott returned home to Australia. At No. 9 in the Official World Golf Ranking, Scott is the only player among the top 32 not to have competed since the season restart last month. Scott, 40, won in consecutive starts bridging the new year, at the Australian PGA in December and the Genesis Invitational in February. The PGA Championship will be played Aug. 6-9 at TPC Harding Park in San Francisco.
