2020 Travelers Championship: Viewer’s guide, TV times, how to watch

Golf Channel and CBS will provide coverage of 3rd consecutive fan-free event of PGA Tour’s season restart

After a thrilling victory by Webb Simpson at RBC Heritage at Harbour Town Golf Links last week, the PGA Tour jetted north to Cromwell, Conn., for the Travelers Championship at TPC River Highlands. Interestingly enough, amid the season reshuffle because of the coronavirus pandemic, this is the first Tour event being contested in its original slot on the calendar.

Last year, Chez Reavie ran away from the field in the third round by firing a tournament-low 63 and coasted to a four-stroke victory. This year’s field is as strong as ever, with the likes of Justin Thomas, Rory McIlroy, Patrick Reed, Marc Leishman, Bryson DeChambeau and Xander Schauffele competing.

You’ll still notice the absence of fans for a third consecutive week during the Tour’s season restart as they remain relegated to home viewing for a few more weeks. And with that, the broadcast will look essentially the same on Golf Channel and CBS.

Coverage windows are listed below. Tune in to see an elite field tackle a short but demanding course that will once again be set up for low scores.
