Move leaves 50-and-older tour with 11 tournaments for rest of year, beginning with season restart in late July
Canceled: The Champions Tour’s Boeing Classic, officials said Thursday, citing the effects of the coronavirus pandemic. The tournament was scheduled for Aug. 21-23 at The Club at Snoqualmie Ridge in Snoqualmie, Wash. Tournament director Brian Flajole said uncertainty about holding a large public gathering led to the decision. The cancellation, the 10th of the season, leaves the revised Champions Tour schedule with 11 more tournaments in 2020, beginning with The Ally Challenge on July 31-Aug. 2 in Grand Blanc, Mich. The 50-and-older tour has not played since March 8.
