2020 Colonial weather: Here’s the daily forecast

There's heat, and then there's Texas heat, and there will be plenty of both this week at Colonial in Fort Worth

Expect plenty of heat in north Texas as the PGA Tour resumes its season this week.

According to the forecast from The Weather Channel, Fort Worth’s Colonial Country Club, site of the Charles Schwab Challenge, will experience sunshine and breezy conditions, with little-to-no chance of rain all week and daytime highs of 90-100 degrees. Play begins Thursday, the PGA Tour’s first official round since the season was suspended March 12 after the first round of the Players Championship because of the coronavirus pandemic.

As of midday Monday, here was the forecast:

Tuesday: Sunny, with a 0 percent chance of rain and west/southwest winds at 17 mph. High 100, low 64

Wednesday: Sunny, with a 0 percent chance of rain and north/northwest winds at 13 mph. High 91, low 65

Thursday: Sunny, with a 0 percent chance of rain and east/southeast winds at 10 mph. High 94, low 69

Friday: Partly cloudy, with a 10 percent chance of rain and southeast winds at 8 mph. High 97, low 71

Saturday: Sunny, with a 0 percent chance of rain and southeast winds at 9 mph. High 98, low 71

Sunday: Sunny, with a 0 percent chance of rain and south/southeast winds at 10 mph. High 99, low 72
