Awarded: By the PGA of America, the 2025 PGA Championship to Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, N.C., officials announced Thursday in a news release. Quail Hollow, a 1961 George Cobb design, played host to the 2017 PGA, which Justin Thomas won. The course also has been the site of an annual PGA Tour stop and will be the site of the 2021 Presidents Cup matches between the Americans and Internationals. This year’s PGA, which was postponed from May because of the coronavirus pandemic, has been rescheduled for Aug. 6-9 at TPC Harding Park in San Francisco.
