LPGA, LET reset Evian Championship

In wake of Olympics postponement because of coronavirus, Evian will be pushed back two weeks, into early August

Rescheduled: By the LPGA and the Ladies European Tour, the Evian Championship, for Aug. 6-9. The Evian, one of the LPGA’s five major championships, had been scheduled to be played July 23-26 in Evian-les-Bains, France. The announcement follows the recent news that the Tokyo Olympics have been postponed until 2021 because of the coronavirus pandemic and helps the LPGA align with its European dates. The Evian will be played one week before the Aberdeen Standard Investments Ladies Scottish Open on Aug. 13-16 in North Berwick.
