Mid-March target date for release has been pushed back as governing bodies address effects of coronavirus on game
Delayed: By the USGA and R&A, the next phase of the Distance Insights project. The two governing bodies, which are collaborating on the effects of distance on the game, had announced Feb. 4 that they would issue an update within 45 days. “At this time, the golf industry needs to focus on its response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic,” the organizations stated in a brief news release. “This will obviously extend the deadline for the research. We will share more information in due course.”
