Released: By the Asian Tour, the first half of its 2020 season schedule, officials announced. The season begins with the Hong Kong Open, which had been rescheduled from the fall because of civil unrest on the island. The tournament will be played Jan. 9-12 at Hong Kong Golf Club, but without the usual co-sponsorship with the European Tour. The SMBC Singapore Open at Sentosa Golf Club’s Serapong Course near tour headquarters will follow Jan. 16-19. The 11-event partial schedule spans 10 Asian nations and runs through June, with the rest of the tour’s events expected to be finalized in early 2020.
