Ended: A 26-year streak among the top 50 in the Official World Golf Ranking for Phil Mickelson, who dropped to No. 51 after tying for 28th in the WGC HSBC Champions on Sunday. Mickelson spent 1,353 weeks among the world’s top 50 golfers, dating to late November 1993. However, he never reached the top spot in the OWGR, instead ranking as high as No. 2 on numerous occasions from 2001 to 2010. Mickelson, 49, has won 44 times on the PGA Tour, including five major championships, to rank ninth on the all-time victories list.
