When thinking about the great sports broadcasting voices that have emanated from the St. Louis, there is no shortage of recognizable names: Jack Buck, Joe Buck, Bob Costas, Dan Dierdorf, Gary Bender, Dan McLaughlin and Joel Meyers.
Then there is Randy Karraker, who never made the jump to the national level, but easily could have. He has an abundance of classic stories about many of his broadcasting cohorts, including Jack Buck stories from back in the KMOX radio days. He shares his tales with podcast host Jay Delsing.
Also, there are very few sports trivia minds that can compare to Karraker's. As you will hear, his recollection of dates and events is truly amazing.
