Go ahead and admit it: You’ll have an eye on football this weekend while the Masters tries to claim its place in the fall lineup
This does not have the feel of a Masters. The scene, foliage and wind direction will be different, and temperatures might be, as well. Most of all, no patrons.
It has the feel of a fall PGA Tour event, with more TV hours and Jim Nantz. That’s it.
Most of America will be watching football and peeking at the golf. The Masters, taking a backseat to another sport? This really is the year 2020, isn't it?
