A simple solution for CBS’ golf coverage

Fed up by all of that yammering with weekend golf on TV? Record the telecast, use the mute button and enjoy the sounds of silence

What good does it do to complain about Jim Nantz and Nick Faldo? CBS likes them, so nothing else really matters. I've complained about them and the PGA Tour coverage several times, but nothing ever changes as too many fans don't say anything.

The solution is to turn off the sound. The golf won't change, and you can make up your own mind about what you see. Also, record the telecast so you can fast forward when the announcers are shown talking to each other and when the spokesperson for the sponsor is on.

The telecast is so much better by doing these things.

A salute to Faldo and Pepper
I enjoy Nick Faldo and his commentary. He adds a little class to TV golf, and Dottie Pepper adds the right zing. They don't have to create nonexistent controversy while treating the audience as adults.

Keep up the good work, guys.
