Simple golf exercise: Single-leg Romanian deadlift
The Single-Leg Romanian Deadlift (SLRD) sounds more intimidating than it really is. However, it still provides a challenge. This is a dynamic balance exercise that requires good core and hip strength as well as balance.
As you go through this exercise, remember to maintain good posture and good core stability. As you can see in the video above, this exercise can be easily done at home—no equipment required. In the context of golf, the SLRD trains a golfer to maintain balance throughout a dynamic movement which is essential throughout the golf swing.
