Foam roller prep: Pec-Lat Stretch
The Pec-Lat Stretch is an excellent exercise for golfers because it helps break up the adhesions and knots in your muscles that can restrict your range of motion in your golf swing. When you’re using a foam roller, it’s key to maintain deep, steady pressure to help loosen up the connective tissue in your body. It’s kind of like kneading a ball of dough when you’re making a pizza.
Utilize this simple golf exercise to prime your body for golf. For more info on the importance of foam rolling and how it relates to golf, please be sure to check out this week’s story in Fitness 101 about Priming Your Body for Golf.
