Steph Curry gives boost to HBCU golf program

With a generous donation from NBA star Steph Curry, Howard University's golf program is being revived after 40 years of dormancy. Sam Puryear, a 50-year-old Winston-Salem, N.C., native, is charged with building the men's and women's programs at the HBCU in the nation's capital.

With co-hosts Bo Van Pelt and Farrell Evans, Puryear shares his vision for the program and how golf can be an agent of change in the life of young people, a lesson he chronicles in his new book, Diamonds in the Rough, about his years at the East Lake Foundation in Atlanta.
