Kid Rock tells story of making an ace with Jack Nicklaus in his foursome

Kid Rock joins the show for a fun look at his love for golf, his friendships with Jack Nicklaus and more. Rock was attending the opening of the Jack Nicklaus-designed American Dunes in Kid Rock's native Michigan. Rock takes a lot of pride in having such a unique public course in his home state. American Dunes is the brainchild of Lt. Col. Dan Rooney, who created the course to support Folds of Honor, his nonprofit organization that has provided 29,000 scholarships to families of fallen or injured military members.

Rock says that his grandfather was such a huge Jack Nicklaus fan that he would give Rock a hard time for not tucking in his shirt and looking presentable. Today, Rock regularly tees it up and has become good friends with the Golden Bear.

Rock's proudest moment is the time he made his first-ever ace, from 174 yards, while playing with Nicklaus at The Bear's Club in Florida. You'll never guess how he and Nicklaus celebrated the feat.
