Paul Casey has won successive Valspar Championships, and seeks to pick up a third after last year's tournament was canceled due to COVID-19. In a light-hearted interview from the 2016 U.S. Open, the 43-year-old Casey shares some of his fondest memories as a kid growing up in England — playing with Legos together, and watching Wimbledon and the Tour de France.
Casey would emulate everything he saw on TV, including pulling out a tennis racket and hitting tennis balls against the garage of his house during Wimbledon's fortnight. In recent years, Casey has gotten into cycling.
The wide-ranging interview also includes Casey talking about first car, a Citroen AX, which had faulty brakes, and what it's like to be a father.
