British brand, Royal Albartross, known for its premium, Italian master artisan, hand-crafted golf shoes, has added three offerings to its spring 2018 collection.
Leaning towards a more casual look and feel that speaks to today’s active golfers, the shoes still boast all the quality, stylish details and comfort elements Royal Albartross is known for.
“It’s really exciting to push our usual golf boundary, enabling us to offer a shoe collection with dual purpose,” says Alex Bartholomew, Royal Albartross CEO. “These new shoes are perfect from the first tee shot to the last round of drink at the bar afterward.”
First up for men is the Forato ($299), a sneaker-inspired shoe that is comfortable and sophisticated with its on-trend, perforated quarter panel, contrast stitching and leather accents. It has orange Vibram soles and the uppers are made from soft leather.
The Forato is available in four colors: an understated white, and unconventional petrol blue, a dynamic red and black with contrasting red top eyelets and a bright red heel trim considered the ‘Ferrari’ of the collection.
There’s also a limited edition Croco Black ($315) featuring alligator print leather and gold hardware. The company calls this shoe its ‘Rock Star,’ because it has a high-roller, distinguished appeal that seamlessly goes from golf course to a night out on the town.
The second addition for men is the Nova ($299), which was introduced last year and updated this season in a new color combination - black with a red leather midsection accent and heel trim making it a very eye-catching, statement shoe. It also has orange Vibram soles.
On the ladies side, the existing Club Luna ($299) will come in two new colors: a bright red with burgundy toe cap, and a nude-colored leather with rose gold toe caps, lace tabs and eyelets.
The comfort of the Vibram sole and overall fashionable look, make this a shoe that can easily be worn with jeans and dresses as well as golf outfits.
It takes eight weeks and more than 250 tasks of precise craftsmanship to create each Royal Albartross golf shoe. Combined with high-tech insoles, breathable lining and varying cleat placements for cushion and balance, the shoes speak to golfers looking for the cream de la cream in golf footwear.
Two more new styles are slated to be introduced sometime in June.
