ORLANDO, Fla. (Sept. 10, 2019) – The biennial Solheim Cup takes place this week, pitting the top women professionals from Europe and the United States against one another in an international team competition. GOLF Channel will carry live coverage of the Solheim Cup, beginning at 3 a.m. ET on Friday-Saturday, and 6:30 a.m. ET on Sunday. The PGA TOUR kicks off its 2019-’20 season this week with A Military Tribute at The Greenbrier, the first of 49 events taking place over the course of the season. The PGA TOUR Champions are in Michigan for The Ally Challenge, where Bernhard Langer leads the field and two-time major champion Angel Cabrera will make his debut on the over-50 circuit. Sergio Garcia and Patrick Reed headline the field at the KLM Open in The Netherlands.

Live coverage of biennial Solheim Cup airing Friday-Sunday on GOLF Channel: GOLF Channel will carry live coverage of the Solheim Cup Friday-Sunday. Coverage will begin at 3 a.m. ET on Friday and Saturday, showcasing the fourball and foursomes match sessions each day. Sunday’s live coverage will kick off at 6:30 a.m. ET and feature 12 singles matches.

Solheim Cup news conferences airing Tuesday-Wednesday on Morning Drive: GOLF Channel’s Morning Drive will air as extended four-hour shows on Tuesday-Wednesday in order to show Solheim Cup press conferences in advance of the competition.

Solheim Cup opening and closing ceremonies to air on GOLF Channel: GOLF Channel will air the opening and closing ceremonies of the Solheim Cup, bringing viewers on-site to Gleneagles. The opening ceremony will air on Thursday at 12:30 p.m. ET, and the closing ceremony is scheduled to air within Golf Central on Sunday afternoon (1-3 p.m. ET).
