Voted: By PGA Tour players as the circuit’s player of the year, Justin Thomas, whose five victories in the 2016-17 season included the PGA Championship. Thomas, 24, of Jupiter, Fla., also won the yearlong FedEx Cup.

Agreed: To be sold for an undisclosed price, Engineers Country Club in Roslyn Harbor, N.Y., in a 77-4 vote of its equity members, Newsday reported, citing club president Cliff Saffron. Engineers, a 1917 Herbert Strong design that was renovated in 1921 by Devereux Emmet, hosted the 1919 PGA Championship and the 1920 U.S. Amateur. RXR Realty of Uniondale, N.Y., has proposed a luxury residential project on a portion of the 138-acre property, according to Newsday.
